The specific scope of work, including design consultations, spatial planning, and furniture curation, will be outlined in a formal project proposal or quotation. Any additional services requested outside the original scope will be treated as a separate instruction and quoted accordingly.

• Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to commence design work or initiate the manufacturing of custom furniture.

• Milestone Payments: Project phases will be invoiced according to the schedule outlined in your proposal.

• Final Payment: Full settlement is required prior to the delivery of furniture or the handover of final technical drawings.

• Invoices: All invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Specifications: Custom items (such as loungers, cabinetry, or hardware) are manufactured based on approved designs. Once the Client approves a design and production begins, no further changes can be made.

• Lead Times: Manufacturing and delivery dates are estimates provided in good faith. edge.ids is not liable for delays caused by third-party suppliers, material shortages, or shipping logistics.

• No Returns on Bespoke Items: Due to the personalized nature of custom-designed furniture and textiles, these items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless a manufacturing defect is present.

All design concepts, sketches, 3D renders, and technical drawings created by edge.ids remain the sole intellectual property of the Studio. The Client is granted a license to use these designs solely for the intended project upon full payment of all professional fees. These designs may not be reproduced, sold, or used for other projects without express written consent.

The Client is responsible for providing timely feedback and approvals to maintain project momentum. For on-site installations, the Client must ensure the premises are accessible and prepared for the scheduled delivery or installation team.

While we take every precaution to ensure the highest quality of service, edge.ids is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our designs or products. We recommend that clients maintain appropriate homeowner insurance for all installed items.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Johannesburg.
